The College is duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Govt. of Punjab for running the following programmes.

B.Tech. (4yrs.)

Eligibility

10+2 with Physics and Maths. as compulsory subject with any of the following: Chemistry / Biology / Biotech. / Computer Science.

Admission Procedure

Govt. Seats: State level Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by PTU, Jalandhar/Rank in AIEEE.
Mgt. Seats: Direct Admission by College as per State Govt. policy.

In each discipline, 15% of State-quota is reserved for candidates on All-India basis and would be filled through merit in AIEEE.

B.Tech. (3yrs.) Lateral Entry (LEET)

Eligibility

Diploma in Engg. from Punjab State Board of Technical Education in any such examination from any recognized State Board of Technical Education.

Admission Procedure

Govt Seats : Merit in LEET.
Mgt. Seats : Direct Admission by College as per State Govt. policy.

MBA (2yrs.)

Eligibility

Graduation in any stream

MCA (3yrs.)

Eligibility

Graduation in any stream with Maths. in 10+2/BCA or equivalent.

M.Tech. ECE (Regular)

Eligibility

B.Tech. (ECE) or M.Sc. (Applied Physics) with specialization in Electronics.

Govt.Seats : Two third seats are filled by State counselling
Mgt.Seats : One third of total seats.

Fee Structure

General Rules Regarding Fee Structure

	The fee is payable Semester-wise. The first installment of the fee is payable at the time of admission and shall be as per guidelines of Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Other Installments will be paid at the beginning of a Semester or as per announcements from the College.
	The amount of fee due is to be paid in advance at the time of admission through cash or Bank Draft in favour of Amritsar College of Engineering & Technology, Amritsar payable at Amritsar.
	The University Examination Fees would be charged extra as per actual.
	Subject to clearance of dues, if any, the full amount of security will be refunded at the time of leaving the College, whereas the other part of the fee is non�refundable.

Facilities

Central Library

A Library is a collection of information, sources, resources and services. In this repository of knowledge, the information is acquired, processed, arranged and disseminated. The main objective of any Library is to cater to the literary needs of the users. Central Library of ACET has been in existence since May, 2002 and is developing day by day. Earlier, it was established in the Main Block but now its building has been shifted to the PG Block. It houses a spacious section of the college building i.e. 650 sq.m.

Hostel

Separate hostel facility for boys and girls within the campus is available for the students who take admission from other cities. Hostel has attached washrooms and geysers, air cooler and other necessities to make the life as simple and comfortable as possible. Boys and girls hostel has separate gymnasium and common room.

Dispensary

Medical Facilities for students with in the campus in form of dispensary. Doctor is available on all days of week from 3 pm to 7 pm. Free Medication are available for students & faculty.

Students Canteen

The College has a hygienic eating joint, which caters to the needs of the students from early morning till night.

Training & Placements

	Established in July 2004 to assist students to get first job through campus recruitment.
	Placement Cell has Big Working Area with 10 Computers with Wi-Fi connection.
	Experienced team of 6 members supported by all departments coordinates, has achieved excellent results.
	Placement cell is performing following duties apart From campus Recruitment. Grooming Students for better placements by organizing Group discussion, HR Interviews Sessions, Communication Skills program, mock interview etc with in the campus.
	Support Students in arraigning them 6-8 weeks industrial training of the 4th Semester students in the reputed organization through out the country.
	Support Students in arraigning them 6 Months industrial training of the 7th Semester students in the reputed organization through out the country.
	Spreading information of general interest like dead lines to apply for MBA programs.
	Organizing seminars for guidance on higher education e.g. GRE, GMAT, CAT, GATE
	Organizing seminars for guidance on UPSC Examinations.
