Apeejay Institute of Design was set up in September 1992. Housed in its aesthetically designed building ideally suited for creative activities, the Institute offers a Bachelor in Design course in different areas of specialization, a Bachelor in Multimedia, a Bachelor in Fine Arts and a Post Graduate Diploma Course. These Degrees are awarded by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

Apeejay Institute of Design offer full time Bachelor in Design program. The duration of the program is four years divided into eight semesters, Courses Schedule is 19 weeks - 570 Contact hours per semester, Mode of study is Foundation Course (Semester I to II) Specialisation (Semester III to VII).
Master in Design Programme has been designed with a vision to impart intensive education in upcoming specialized areas. The duration of the program is two years divided into four semesters.
Fortified with managerial inputs like Design Management & Professional Practice, Research & Development, Merchandising, Ethics & Professionalism, this course aims at training complete Professionals who could be an asset to any Organization and also can become successful Entrepreneurs tomorrow. The course curriculum runs Project wise, based on the Industry requirement under the guidance of the faculty.
