About Institute


Center for Research in Art of Film and Television (CRAFT) is a nonprofit organization registered as a Public Charitable Trust. It was established to fulfill the following objectives: 

  • To strengthen education, training, creativity, research, documentation, dissemination, criticism, distribution, and collaborations across disciplines in the field of film and television
  • To impart quality education in the field of film, television, and other media through short term and long term courses with specialization in various disciplines.
  • To organize seminars, lectures, conferences, and film festivals spanning fiction, documentary, short, and animation films in cooperation with other film

Center for Research in Art of Film and Television (CRAFT) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization registered as a public charitable trust to impart quality education in the field of film, television, and other media arts through short and long-term courses with specialization in various disciplines.

While many mass communication courses exist at the bachelor's and master's level in Delhi, why has CRAFT decided to introduce one-year, full-time postgraduate advance diplomas.

Videography & Photography

1 Year, Full Time, Certification

The course consists primarily of workshop exercises and assignments with lectures and demonstrations for content delivery and guidance.

This course blends traditional filmmaking techniques with the latest digital video and film cinematography. We use the Panasonic SDX-900, the Sony DSR-500 DVCam, and the DXC-30WS cameras for regular projects.

The course is based on a holistic, 'hands-on' approach to Professional Photography. Teaching methodology includes lectures, slide shows (work done by faculty as well as images from around the world), demos, field trips, assignments, web research and critique sessions.
