B.TECH. PROGRAMME

The under-graduate curriculum consists of two main components i.e. Core courses and Professional courses. The core courses lay emphasis on concepts and principles. It has a strong emphasis on the teaching of basic Sciences and Engineering Sciences subjects. Emphasis is also given on the communication skills in English language – the medium of instructions. The Professional courses lay emphasis on design, manufacture, professional practice and technology with a built-in-flexibility to encourage students to specialize in streams of their choice through a system of professional and open electives.

The key feature of undergraduate curriculum is “Industrial Training Semester” which can be held either in seventh or eighth semester of the B.Tech. Programme. During this semester, the students work on their undergraduate project at industry under the joint guidance of a faculty member from the Institute and a coordinator from the Industry. A strong emphasis on interaction with industry is the hallmark of the undergraduate programme to produce young engineers who are suited to meet the needs of the industry.

M.TECH. PROGRAMME

The rapid pace of change and advancement taking place in engineering and technology pose a great challenge to training and supply of right kind of quality technical manpower. The M.Tech. Programme has been designed to develop a deep understanding of fundamental principles and the state of knowledge in a chosen area (along with related areas) through courses, self study and research. The Programme strives to develop competence of independent research and ability to offer total solutions to real life engineering problems.

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

It is the focal point for continuous enhancement of student’s managerial, analytical and intellectual abilities with the objective of satisfying conditions of today’s corporate scenario. It has been established with the goal of creating future managers capable enough to exhibit skills at all levels. The department is facilitated with best state of art infrastructure and dedicated faculty to act as mentors providing directions for individual development.

MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

The 3 years MCA Programme is recognized by AICTE and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. The department has on its rolls highly qualified Teaching and Technical staffs, who are exposed to the latest development in the field, to impart field skills and practical skills to the students.

CONTINUING ENGINEERING EDUCATION PROGRAMME(CEEP)

To cope up with  the changing demand of the industry and the society ,working professional and practicing engineers are left with no choice but to constantly update renew their knowledge through Continuing Engineering Education to keep abreast with the modern developments in order to overcome to obsolescence and ensure career development. Keeping this is perspective ,the institute has started continuing Engineering Education programme(CEEP),wherein many courses have been stated by the Institute.All the courses are universally recognized.

The Institute offers Standard Computer Courses of public utility under Continuing Engineering Education Programme (CEEP).
