Overview


The Institute for Technology and Management was founded with an academic association with The Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), USA . The curriculum, academic standards and pedagogy of SNHU formed the basis of ITM's Masters Program. In the years since, the Institute has expanded its collaborations to include distinguished Universities across Europe and Asia , evolving academic programs of International repute.


The ITM Group of Business Schools has grown from one Business in Mumbai, to 7 campuses by the year 2004. Starting with a 2 year fulltime Masters program in 1991, The ITM Group of Business Schools is currently conducting 15 programs, in a broad range of fields including Financial Markets, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Risk Management, Human Resources etc. School


The Institute's growth is not limited to new buildings and campuses. Several path breaking programs were launched across its various campuses. In 1999, ITM started specialized Masters programs in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Management, IT Management, and Banking & Insurance at ITM Hyderabad.

Bachelor of Science – Hospitality Studies


The Hospitality Industry is experiencing a phenomenal growth due to an exceptional surge in Indian and International tourism.  This has resulted in an increased demand of trained hospitality professionals.  To fulfill the growing Human Resource demands of the Travel, Tourism & Leisure Industry the University of Mumbai offers a degree in Hospitality Education titled as Bachelor of Hotel & Tourism Management Studies.

Duration: 3 years Fulltime


Eligibility:

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree Course in Management Studies shall have passed XII Standard Examination of any State Board / University for Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate.

All admissions made by our institution are provisional until they are confirmed by the University of Mumbai.

Bachelor in International Hospitality Management

Hospitality represents a vast and vitally important global industry and this is reflected in the contents of the program, which aims to prepare you to work in an international business environment.  Emphasis is given to the development of technical, intellectual and interpersonal skills such as leadership and teamwork.  The degree provides you with sound entrepreneurial and managerial skills.  The business and management skills acquired are highly relevant and desirable across a wide range of other service sector industries.

Duration: 3 years Fulltime

Eligibility:

  • Candidates who are 10+2 pass, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
  • Aptitude for the Hospitality / Service industry as demonstrated through a personal interview

Chef Diploma Program

The course is focused on developing advanced culinary skills in an international setting, the program offers students a unique opportunity to learn at the hands of some of the finest culinary professionals in the world, and to work at leading hotels and restaurants in Canada or anywhere else in the world. The Diploma is certified by Human Resource Development Canada and accredited by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities – Private Career Colleges division. Through the collaboration between ITM and NOTL CS students can complete the Part 1 of the program in India and transfer to NOTL CS in Canada to complete the program, undertake internships and seek employment.

Eligibility

Category I
The standard entry requirement is a 10 + 2 from a recognised Board / University, or what is considered equivalent.

Category II
Candidates with a minimum of 12 years Educational qualitfication with at least 3 years Educational experience.
