Admission Procedure
1. Educational Qualifications:
a) Graduation (anv stream) For MSc in HM & T.
b) 12th Standard (any stream) For BHAH.
2. The applicant, after going through this Prospectus, must fill-in the attached Application Form for Admission in BLOCK LETTERS, and submit the same with copies of the 10th Board Certificate (towards proof of age). School Leaving Certificate, relevant 12th Mark-Sheet and one passport-size photograph.
3. The selection process comprises of a personal interview test to judge the overall suitability ofastudent for the course.
After receipt of the Application form, the Institute would screen the applications and would call all the eligible candidates for an interview. Based on the performance in the interview, the Institute would short-list candidates and grant admission to candidates who successfully clear the Interview.
4. It must be emphasized here, that the courses are based on intensive learning patterns, requiring focused & motivated learners. As such, the Institute reserves the right of admission on the basis of merit, personality, proficiency in language, grasping abilities, etc.
5. Name of the selected candidates would be posted on the Notice Board of the Institute. Selected candidates must forward the fees by the stipulated deadlines, failing which, the reserved seat would be vacated and offered instead to the next eligible /wait-listed candidate.
6. At Pitampura, Local candidates can make their payments by Cash or Local Cheques in favor of "LBIIHM". However, outstation candidates need to make their payment by cash or demand drafts payable in Delhi. For other centres, please contact the respective centres for further payment details.

The purpose of the on-the-job training is to place the students in the real-life, actual hotel environment in order to facilitate learning under the guidance of working supervisors and managers. The Institute assures Training & Placement assistance to only those students who are regular, disciplined, well-groomed and have minimum of 85 % attendance.

India Today Conclave, Agha Khan Award, World Economic Forum Meet, World Bank Meet, President Musharaff Dinner etc. are the few functions where our students learn the nitty-gritty of Banquet Training to the perfection.
Activities & Events
Cultural Programe
The Institute conducts cultural programmes every year for the students to exhibit their talent in various programmes like singing, dancing, fashion shows, short plays, dramas, etc. They also participate in the cultural programmes conducted by other colleges.
Food Festivals
The students have conducted a no. of Theme Food Festivals. This is an on-going affair at LBIIHM whereby students get an opportunity to show-case their culinary skills.
Earn While You Learn
The Institute has tie-ups with the Hotels for organizing paid-internship during evenings and weekends where the students gain knowledge and rich experience. Our students are also invited by various star Hotels for various ODCs which is part of their Banquet Training. Our students undergo Banquet Training at Hyatt Regency, Taj Palace, The Grand, Metropolitan Nikko, Le Meridien etc.
Educational Tour
The Institute organizes Educational Tour to various places of Tourism importance in our Country. Field trips are arranged to visit Hotels, Breweries, Resorts, etc. This inculcates in the students a team spirit and creates in them a spirit of enjoyment, adjustment and togetherness.
Festivals
The College takes pride in celebrating various festivals like Onam, Saraswati Pooja, Diwali. Christmas, Pongal, Ramzan, etc., to inculcate in the students unity, respect for other religions and to preserve the traditions of our culture. The students are exposed to various types of Cuisines, Culture and Traditions followed in various parts of our Country.
