Established in 1962, MadanMohanMalaviyaEngineeringCollege is counted as one of the best institutions of its kind in the state. Forty four batches of students have entered its portals to emerge after four years of rigorous education under the tutelage of some of the most venerable teachers, engineers ready to face the world and create new worlds.
The medium of education is English. All classes and examinations are held in English alone.
A 3 year M.C.A. Programme is being offered from the session 1987-88. The present intake is 60. The course aims at training manpower for information system leading to a professional cadre that will develop, install and maintain computer systems for management in industries in addition to application of software development.
The course curriculum spreading over six semesters (3 years) includes courses in Computer Science as well as Management and Mathematics with a number of electives like Client Server Computing, Compiler Design, Multimedia Systems, Advanced Computer Networks, Parallel and Distributed Algorithms etc. Students devote the last semester in industry for six months project work that provides them an opportunity to get familiar with state-of-art industry environment/culture.
The admission is open to candidates of both sexes without discrimination of caste, creed and color .The minimum qualification required for admission to M.C.A course is Bachelor's degree of any recognized University or an equivalent degree with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects. The admission to the course is made through SEE-UPTU / a competitive combined entrance examination.
Fee etc. as prescribed shall be realized in two installments, (Ist and 2nd) each year. Students will be required to deposit/pay the increased fee and user charges subject to revision by the University/College/Govt. from time to time. The details are provided at the end.
Note :
(a) The students have to deposit the college fees and dues in accordance with the notifications. It has no concern with class or date of receipt of stipend etc.
(b) If the student after depositing the fees for the 1st term withdraws his/ her candidature, the refund of the fees will be made as per college rules.
(c) The refund of caution money shall have to be claimed back by students if they so desire. If it remains unclaimed for three years, it will be considered as lapsed and utilized for college development/work.
