Institute for Media Studies & Information Technology was a initiative of New Delhi YMCA. Established in 1984 as a Center of Mass Media (CMM). This center was launched by Mr. Wilfred Lazarus, a reputed journalist who was then the President of YMCA. In 2000, it was renamed as Institute for Media Studies & Information Technology (IMSIT). Leading institute for mass media education conducts post-graduate/undergraduate diploma courses in Public Relations and Advertising and Journalism. In its successful journey it has trained more than 6000 students who are now successfully working on top management levels in Public Relations, Advertising and Print and Electronic media organizations.
