The Educational Society of Professionals and Vocationals was founded by like minded educationists, philanthropists and public spirited persons, dedicated to task of bringing about socio-economic transformations in keeping with the National Priorities. It was registered as a 'Charitable Institution' under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. The objective of the society has been to provide skilled manpower to support the vast development programmes, being implemented in the country. In turn it enjoined on the Society to establish, promote and propagate vocational and technical education programmes to provide the right kind of professional and skilled personnel needed. The first venture of the society was to establish 'New Delhi College of Commerce' for training Cost and Works Accountants, duly approved by the National Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India, at N-14, South Extension, Part-I, New Delhi, India. This Institution was set up in the year 1973 and by now has turned out thousands of students many of whom are in controlling and Executive positions indicating the cherished hopes of the planners.

The art of Beauty Culture is very old and all through the ages, beauties have influenced the minds of Kings, Queens, Poets and other important people who mould society. This course will help the girls to open their Beauty Parlours or get employed on good remuneration with a Beautician, Fitness Centre, etc.
Polytechnic for Women is affiliated to the PUNJAB TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY(P.T.U.),Jalandhar, Punjab, whereby it offers degree courses in major areas of design, media education & travel management.TheUniversity is U.G.C. approved.
For the full year the fees are charged in four installments. 1st term fee is for July, August and September, 2nd term fee for October, November and December, 3rd term fee is for January, February and March and 4th term fee for April, May and June. The term wise details are given below: 2nd term, 3rd term and 4th term fees are payable by end of Sept., Dec. and Feb. respectively. Fees paid after 10 days of due date will be charged with Re-Admission fees of Rs. 200.

1st term fees for second and third Year students must be deposited by 30th June, each Year.
All fees must be paid by Cash/Bank Demand Draft in favour of 'Polytechnic for Women, New Delhi'. Cheques are not acceptable.

The Polytechnic Maintains A Regular Liasion / Contact Through Conferences, Get-togethers And Other Professional Media, With Export Houses, Business Houses,Industries, Embassies,Banks,Airlines, Hotels And Tourist Organisations To Help The Successful Students Secure Employment. In Cases Where The Students Want To Set Up A Free Lance Practice, The Polytechnic Helps Them To Do So.
For This Purpose A Regular Employment Register Is Maintained And The Students Are Required To Keep In Touch With The Employment Incharge.On-campus Interviews Are Also Conducted From Time To Time .
Prospective Employers Are Also Invited To A Display Of The Students' Work At The End Of The Sesion To Acquaint Them With The Professional Skills Of The Students.
Most Of The Students Get Offers Of Employment Even Before Passing Out Of The Institution. The Career Guidance Department Of The Polytechnic Helps The Students In Promoting The Right Kind Of Aptitude And Helps Them In Their Professioanl Placement .
