Admission Procedure
All the applicants are enrolled on first come first serve basis after they apply for the course. An interview is arranged, in person at the campus. The candidates eligibility criteria, his past achievements, his interest & commitment, medical fitness and his learning ability is assessed and after that he is allowed to register in the appropriate course.
Eligibility & Exemptions
1. (a) Any student, who has completed successfully10+2 level education from any Government Recognized Board or University of India, can take admission to Graduate programme.
(b) Any student who has completed successfully graduation from any discipline from any Government Recognized Board or University of India, can take admission to Post Graduate Programme.
2. However, considering the fact that there are many persons who could not complete their education to 10+2 level but have learned through the informal learning experience, YCMOU conducts a Preparatory Course in July and December every year. The students of this course are given training in study skills, which enable them to learn in the open mode of education. A person who has finished successfully a preparatory programme for graduation is also eligible for admission to this programme.
3. In case a candidate has completed a course from a Government Recognized Board of University, which has, content similar to that offered in subject in programme, he/she may appeal to the Director of School for getting exemption to a course through a written application supported by necessary documents (syllabi of the courses completed by him/her). The decision of the Director of School will be final and binding on the student in this respect.
4. To secure a seat in college a candidate have to contact in person to college together with form (Downloaded) duly filled in by himself/herself.
Selection procedure for Hotel & Tourism studies
This Program is open to candidates from a wide variety of professional, educational and cultural backgrounds. We welcome highly motivated and ambitious students who are prepared to undergo the rigorous demands of the Programme.
After the initial screening based on the application form and supporting documentation, the Admission Committee will organize an interview with the applicant and parents in person or by phone prior to making the final decision on the application. There is NO PERCENTAGE BARRIER.

Facilities
Strategically located within walking distance from Panvel Railway station and bus depot the college enjoys well equipped laboratories for core subjects of Hospitality courses. Keeping in mind the objective of quality education, not more than 30 students are kept in one batch in these laboratories, the student –faculties’ ratio during practical is 1:15.
College has spacious and airy classrooms with attached restrooms. Well equipped kitchens, bakeries and confectionery, housekeeping work shops, audio visual equipped AC class rooms.
Emphasis is placed on management studies like Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Insurance & Banking with special attention on development of soft skills.
