Established in the year 1998, LingayaUniversity was established in the memory of Late Shri Gadde Lingaya, great freedom fighter. The erstwhile Institute has been now declared as Deemed-to-be-University in the name & style of Lingaya's University under Section 3 of UGC Act. 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India vide Notification No. F.9-23/2005-U.3 dated 5-1-2009. LingayaUniversity has an excellent infrastructure, which has a wi-fi campus, comfortable and hygienic hostels and prestigious faculty members from IIT’s, NIT’s, BITS Pilani. A combination of these elements, has made LingayaUniversity one of the most preferred names in Haryana. LingayaUniversity offers the students an array of Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral programmes in Engineering, Technology, Management, Computer Applications and Humanities & Social Sciences.

Lingaya’s University with its towering knack for knowledge and fresh new appeal offers its students a regular full time 4 year bachelors program in B.Tech. The course is split into 12 trimesters. This course prepares a student to face industry challenges in the best possible way. The institute takes special efforts to push the envelope and to shape its students career in a way that they soar high and go onto become best professionals in the industry.
Candidates who have secured at least 60% marks in their 12th examination from a renowned board can apply for this course. The Student also needs to ensure that he/she has passed subjects like Physics, English, Computer Sc, Maths and Chemistry clearly in the respective exams.

Lingaya’s University has a wi-fi campus, with centrally air conditioned computing facility and spacious computer laboratories. In addition to this, the institute also has a round the clock Internet connectivity, through 10 Mbps RF link. This facility has the backing of more than 300 KVA On line UPS system. In addition to this, Lingaya university has a central Library with rich collection of books on various disciplines.

The library gives the facility of searching, issuing & returning of books. Open on all working days from 8.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. and on holidays 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. In addition to this, the Central Library has its own library with technical books and journals.
